Leslie Vann has been serving the public for over 32 years. He brings his passion for helping others to his real estate clients.
Leslie Vann began his career in education as a high school agricultural science teacher for Holiday ISD in 1986 and later taught agricultural science at Klondike ISD and Sands CISD. He then transitioned to a PK-12 principal in central Texas for a short period of time before moving to Wellman as the K-12 principal. In 1998, Vann accepted the position of Superintendent for Lometa ISD. Two years later he accepted the superintendent’s position for Gorman ISD, and in July of 2005 he returned to Wellman-Union as the superintendent. Mr. Vann began working with Lamesa ISD in March of 2010, as the Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations. Vann recently retired from education as the Superintendent for Comfort ISD.
Graduating from Lampasas High School, Vann earned his Bachelor of Science from Tarleton State University in 1984 and Master of Science and Teaching from Tarleton in 1986. He later completed his principal’s certification at Sul Ross State University, received his superintendent’s certification at Tarleton State University and participated in the Lamar University Superintendents’ Academy.
Serving the public is the family business. Vann’s wife teaches for Springtown ISD and his son and daughter-in-law teach for Decatur ISD.

He is a graduate of the World Wide College of Auctioneering and is a professional auctioneer with the company of Vann Land & Livestock Auctions specializing in auction marketing of real estate and commercial auctions. Leslie also serves as an independent contract auctioneer and fundraising auctions, licensed in Texas. License Number 18000.
As an educational leader, marketing consultant, and accomplished speaker, Vann has conducted numerous programs on goal setting and marketing for schools and various community organizations.
Leslie is a proud member of the National Auctioneers Association (NAA), the Texas Auctioneers Association (TAA), Texas Realtors Association. (TARS) and a life member of the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA). Leslie Vann is an active member of the Decatur Lions Club, Wise County Youth Fair Board, Decatur Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, and San Antonio Livestock Show Volunteer Committee. Leslie is an avid livestock judge, educator, enjoys traveling, outdoor cooking (Bar-B-Q), and spending quality time with his wife of 33 years and their son and daughter in-love and new grandson. Vann makes his home in Decatur, Texas.
